London Thunder Basketball is a community basketball organisation based in South East London, with its home venue, the Thunderdome, on Stockholm Road in SE16. The club welcomes players to participate in basketball programmes and compete across a range of ages and abilities. Its teams include mixed under-12s, boys’ and girls’ youth squads, and senior men, with activity connected to national, local and community leagues.
London Thunder offers weekly training, basketball camps, school programmes and opportunities to play in local competitions, including the Lewisham under-12 mixed CVL. It also provides wheelchair basketball and court hire, helping make facilities and participation available to a wider community.
