Thunderstruck Retrievers

Thunderstruck Retrievers is a family-run Golden Retriever breeding and training operation located near Alexandria, Minnesota. Based on 120 acres with training ponds and cover, the business raises, competes, and breeds versatile dogs intended to excel in the field while remaining friendly and affectionate companions at home. Its dogs compete in American Kennel Club field trials and hunt tests, and Thunderstruck Retrievers is a member of the Golden Retriever Club of America and Vikingland Retriever Club.

The kennel offers Golden Retriever puppies for competitive homes that can give them purposeful work as they grow, as well as for people seeking hunting companions or family pets. Its breeding goal is to place puppies that are well socialized, eager to learn, inquisitive, and enthusiastic. Prospective owners can inquire about current and future litters and submit a puppy application. Thunderstruck Retrievers is operated by Todd and Benita Otterness, who welcome inquiries by email, phone, or through the website.
