ThymicUK

ThymicUK is a UK registered charity and patient-led support and advocacy group for people affected by thymic cancers, including thymoma and thymic carcinoma. Established by patients, carers, families and friends, the organisation works to share information, provide support, represent patients and encourage research that could improve treatments, survival and quality of life. It is recognised by the British Thoracic Oncology Group and is a member of its Thymic Malignancy Special Interest Group.

ThymicUK connects patients and families through an active private Facebook support group, patient forums, regular virtual and face-to-face meetings, and personal stories. Its website offers information about thymic cancers and treatments, UK specialists, clinical trials, research, patient webinars and the UK Registry for Thymic Epithelial Tumours. The charity also invites patients to help shape future research and provides ways to get involved, including sharing experiences, fundraising, donating and raising awareness. Its online shop offers ThymicUK awareness badges and ribbons, with free delivery across the UK. ThymicUK shares information and peer support but does not provide medical advice.
