Ticiporto

Ticiporto is a seafood-focused restaurant in the centre of Cecina, Tuscany, about three kilometres from the coast at Marina di Cecina. Describing itself as neither a gourmet restaurant, a traditional seafood trattoria nor an osteria, it offers a relaxed, informal setting where guests can feel at home, from aperitivo through after-dinner drinks. Its cooking combines seafood, Tuscan tradition and a creative, playful approach, with dishes designed to surprise while balancing flavours.

The menu includes 12 starters and sharing-style specialities, such as tapas, anchovy dishes, tuna sashimi, prawn miniburgers, skewers and mussels. Pasta options range from the restaurant’s Ticiporto carbonara and pacchero cacciuccato to linguine with green ingredients and chef’s cappellacci, alongside changing off-menu creations. Main dishes include mixed fried seafood, octopus, grilled selections, tuna and steamed seafood. Guests can also choose from à la carte, lunch and aperitivo menus, with sparkling wine suggested as an accompaniment. Ticiporto is listed as temporarily closed on its website. It is located at Via Armando Diaz 23, Cecina.
