About Tideway
Tideway is a company dedicated to delivering the Thames Tideway Tunnel, an essential infrastructure project. Owned by a consortium of investors, Tideway boasts an indirect investment from over two million pensioners through UK pension funds managed by these investors. With a committed team of over 400 highly experienced professionals, Tideway is diligently working alongside its four main delivery partners to bring the project to fruition.
Preparatory work began in 2015 and construction is currently underway at each of the company's 24 sites in London. The anticipated completion date for the project is 2025, with an estimated cost of £4. 5 billion.
The expenses of this vital tunnel are being covered by Thames Water's 15 million wastewater customers, with a marginal increase of no more than £25 per year in their bills.
