Tier Defenders

Tier Defenders is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing wildlife conservation worldwide. Its central focus is strengthening the people who protect wildlife, including Wildlife Rangers, Scouts, wildlife trafficking investigators, and local communities. The organization provides specialized training and operational expertise to help conservation professionals work safely and ethically in challenging environments.

Training covers situational awareness, conflict mitigation, human rights standards, survival strategies, and emergency response. Through this work, Tier Defenders aims to build Rangers’ capacity to protect themselves, their teams, nearby communities, and the wildlife in their care. Its approach emphasizes professionalism, integrity, and respect for people and ecosystems, drawing on experience in military special operations and federal law enforcement.

Tier Defenders also supports community engagement and environmental education through workshops, school programs, volunteer opportunities, and events such as cleanups and habitat-focused activities. Individuals can contribute through donations, volunteering, or organizing local initiatives. The organization’s broader mission is rooted in the belief that every animal life matters and that protecting wildlife is essential to global conservation.
