Tierheim Bergheim is a dedicated shelter committed to the welfare of animals, employing a passionate team of 16 staff members who care for cats, dogs, small and wild animals, as well as farm animals like sheep, goats, and poultry. The shelter prioritizes finding loving homes for its residents, providing a warm and nurturing environment where each animal has the opportunity for a better life.

In addition to rehoming efforts, Tierheim Bergheim also provides valuable support for animals in need, whether they are lost, abandoned, sick, or malnourished. The shelter houses a variety of rescued animals, including a special station for wildlife care. The team works diligently to ensure that every animal receives the care and attention it deserves.

There are numerous ways for the community to get involved, including donations, sponsorships, and becoming a patron of specific animals. With ongoing projects, like the construction of a new dog house, Tierheim Bergheim consistently seeks to enhance the quality of life for its animals and invites everyone to join in their mission.
