Tierheim Delitzsch

**Tierheim Delitzsch** is a dedicated animal shelter located in Laue, Delitzsch, committed to providing a loving environment for rescued animals. The shelter offers a diverse range of animals for adoption, including dogs, cats, small pets, and reptiles. With a mission centered on animal welfare, Tierheim Delitzsch works tirelessly to find homes for its residents, often featuring special needs and senior animals as “sorgenkinder” (worry children) who require extra care and attention.

In addition to pet adoption, the shelter engages the community through various activities and events, such as open houses, benefit concerts, and educational programs for children. They encourage volunteerism, donations, and sponsorships to support their operations. Open to visitors from Monday to Sunday, the facility promotes animal care awareness and offers services like dog walking and a pet pension for temporary animal care. By fostering a compassionate environment, Tierheim Delitzsch not only facilitates successful adoptions but also cultivates a supportive community for animal lovers.
