About Tierheim Hilden eV
Tierheim Hilden e.V. is a dedicated animal shelter located in Hilden, Germany, committed to finding loving homes for abandoned and needy pets. The shelter cares for a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, small pets like rabbits and rodents, as well as exotic species. Open to the public on specific days, visitors can meet the animals and learn about the adoption process without prior appointments on Saturdays, while visits during the week are by appointment only.
In addition to adoption services, Tierheim Hilden offers financial support options through sponsorships for animals in need, as well as opportunities for volunteers to contribute through programs like dog walking. The shelter relies heavily on donations to maintain operations, covering costs for food, medical care, and facility upkeep. Regular fundraising initiatives and community involvement play a crucial role in its financial sustainability. For anyone interested in helping, Tierheim Hilden welcomes donations, and inquiries regarding membership or partnerships are encouraged.
