The Tierheim Krefeld, operated by the Tierschutzverein Krefeld und Umgebung von 1877 e. V., is a dedicated animal shelter committed to the well-being of animals in need. Located in Krefeld, Germany, the facility provides a safe haven for a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, small animals, birds, reptiles, and even spiders. They manage the acceptance of stray animals and facilitate their adoption into loving homes while offering services such as a tier pension for temporary animal care.

The Team at Tierheim Krefeld is passionate about animal welfare and actively encourages community involvement through volunteering, donations, and sponsorship programs. With the support of members and generous donors, the shelter continues to thrive in its mission to rescue and care for abandoned pets. Visitors are encouraged to schedule appointments for pet adoptions, ensuring each animal finds the right forever home. The shelter's informative magazine, "Tierisch gut," helps raise awareness of animal protection issues and highlights their ongoing needs. For any inquiries or emergencies, the shelter is reachable 24/7.
