About Tierheim Passau
The Tierschutzbewegung Ostbayern + OÖ e.V., located in Passau, is dedicated to the welfare of animals in need, providing a loving environment for dogs, cats, and small pets. Established in 1992, the organization initially began as a shelter for neglected animals and has grown into a well-frequented animal shelter that welcomes visitors and animal lovers alike. The facility features expansive outdoor spaces where animals can roam and play, and separate areas ensure the health and safety of all residents.
The shelter specializes in the care and rehoming of pets abandoned due to various circumstances, including cruelty and family crises. The team works tirelessly to facilitate quick placements into loving homes while ensuring that each animal receives the medical care and attention they deserve. Additionally, the organization relies on donations and membership contributions to sustain operations and continue its essential work in the community. The Tierschutzbewegung Ostbayern + OÖ e.V. invites everyone to participate in their mission through support, whether by visiting the shelter or contributing financially.
