Tierheim Solingen is a compassionate haven for animals, nestled in the picturesque Glüder district by the Wupper River. Established in 1971 by the Tierschutzverein Bergisch Land e.V., the shelter is dedicated to the protection and welfare of abandoned and mistreated animals. The dedicated team, consisting of skilled animal caretakers, veterinarians, and enthusiastic volunteers, provides medical care, training, and loving attention to every animal in need.

In addition to offering a safe refuge, Tierheim Solingen focuses on finding responsible homes for its inhabitants. The staff works closely with prospective adopters to ensure the best match between humans and animals. The organization also promotes community involvement through memberships, volunteer opportunities, and donations, empowering individuals to participate in animal welfare initiatives.

Visitors are encouraged to meet the passionate team and learn about the shelter’s mission. Together, they strive to create a world where every animal receives the love and respect it deserves. Join Tierheim Solingen in their mission for a better future for all animals!
