About Tierpark Walldorf
Tierpark Walldorf is a public animal park in Walldorf, Germany, set in a peaceful woodland location in the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region. Home to around 120 animals, it offers visitors an accessible, family-friendly place to discover wildlife and enjoy time outdoors. The park’s petting area is a highlight, where guests can meet goats and sheep, while other residents include kangaroos, llamas, alpacas, deer, emus, parrots, and a variety of rare birds. A large playground and the Pagoni restaurant provide additional options for relaxing during a visit. Both the park and restaurant are accessible to visitors with disabilities, and admission is free.
Open daily, including public holidays, Tierpark Walldorf also shares information about its animals, nature conservation, and ongoing park developments. Visitors can support its work through donations, membership, or animal sponsorships. The park encourages awareness of threatened species and their habitats, including through its focus on blue-and-yellow macaws. Located at Schwetzinger Straße 99, it welcomes visitors from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; winter closing may follow nightfall or the restaurant’s closing time.
