Tierpark Wolgast

Tierpark Tannenkamp Wolgast e.V. is a nonprofit association that has cared for a wildlife park near the island of Usedom since 1961. Guided by a commitment to animal welfare, education, species conservation and nature protection, it offers visitors a welcoming place to discover animals and woodland habitats. Families can explore thoughtfully designed enclosures, nature trails and a petting area, with opportunities to observe animals such as lemurs, raccoons, porcupines and silver foxes. Selected enclosures are accessible to visitors, and scheduled feeding sessions provide an engaging way to learn about animal care while following welfare rules.

The park also offers seasonal public feedings, events, interactive shows and concerts. Its zoo school, open on Fridays, welcomes school groups and others interested in animal husbandry, conservation and care. Visitors can take a break at the park’s bistro; free Wi-Fi is available in most areas, and the grounds are largely accessible. With a relaxed woodland setting, educational experiences and activities for different ages, Tierpark Wolgast combines recreation with opportunities to deepen appreciation for wildlife and nature.
