Tierschutzvereines Stadthagen

The Stadthagen and Surrounding Area Animal Welfare Association (Tierschutzverein Stadthagen u. U. e. V.) operates the Stadthagen animal shelter, providing a temporary, appropriate home for animals that have lost their homes. The organization helps people find a new companion through its animal adoption service, with listings for shelter residents as well as private placements and animals cared for by other organizations. Visitors can contact the team to ask about a particular animal or arrange an appointment, including outside regular opening hours.

The association also invites the community to support its work through donations, memberships and animal sponsorships. Membership starts at €20 per year, while sponsorships offer a way to support an individual animal. Financial contributions help provide care and shelter for animals in need. The shelter welcomes visitors Tuesday and Thursday through Sunday from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.; it is closed Monday and Wednesday. The association shares news and information through its website and social media, and provides contact details for enquiries, visits and ways to help.
