Tierschutzverein Tutzing und Umgebung e. V. is a volunteer-led animal welfare association serving Tutzing, Bernried and nearby communities in Germany.
For more than 60 years, its members have worked to help animals in need, including domestic and wild animals, while sharing practical information about responsible animal care and protection. The association supports local animal welfare through its Tierhilfe services, including assistance with current cases, information about missing or found animals, and help finding suitable homes for animals needing a new start. Its website also provides useful contacts for animal shelters, veterinarians, wildlife rescue centres and relevant authorities, along with emergency numbers and other guidance.
The organization raises awareness through news, community activities and campaigns, including initiatives related to cat identification and registration. People can contribute by volunteering, becoming members or making donations; the association also welcomes offers of helping hands and pet food. Run by volunteers alongside their regular jobs, the group asks visitors to leave a message or write if a call is not answered
