DomusVi’s Résidence Tiers Temps is a retirement home and nursing facility in central Aix-les-Bains, welcoming older adults who are independent, losing autonomy, or dependent, including people living with Alzheimer’s disease or related conditions. Residents can choose permanent accommodation or a short stay, with care and support available around the clock. Set near local shops, parks, museums, the train station, and Lake Bourget, the residence combines convenient city access with calm outdoor spaces, including a landscaped garden, patio, terrace, and a dedicated garden for its specialized Alzheimer’s unit.
The human-scale residence has 55 rooms, with spacious accommodation ranging from 24 to 38 square metres. Its multidisciplinary team includes nurses, care assistants, a psychologist, a chef, and hospitality and administrative staff. Services include personalized care, activities designed around residents’ interests, memory and wellbeing activities, outings, entertainment, and balanced meals prepared by the chef using dietitian-developed recipes.
Families are invited to contribute to residents’ care plans and stay informed through regular communication and the FamilyVi app
