About Tieteen termipankki
Termipankki is a collaborative and continuously updated terminological database that serves the scientific community and the general public in Finland. With over 45,000 concept pages and 160,000 search terms, Termipankki covers a wide range of disciplines, making it a valuable resource for researchers and citizens alike. Launched in 2012, the project is ongoing, with experts from various fields contributing content to their respective areas.
Termipankki is part of the national Fin-Clariah research infrastructure network, managed by the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Helsinki. Those interested in participating can join expert groups or engage in discussions on specific terms. Additionally, DigiCampus offers online resources and courses on scientific terminology and interdisciplinary concept analysis.
