Tightrope Impro Theatre

Tightrope Impro Theatre is a Vancouver, British Columbia, comedy theatre offering live improv shows and classes for people of all ages and experience levels. Now based at 1330 Napier Street in East Vancouver, the theatre brings audiences and performers together through unscripted comedy and practical training. Its shows include Murder She Improvised, an entirely improvised murder mystery that presents a new setting and cast of suspicious characters each week, inviting audiences to follow the clues as a detective investigates.

Tightrope’s education program includes beginner courses such as First Step and Foundations, specialty classes in acting, stagecraft, and improv for Dungeons & Dragons, and short-form and long-form conservatory programs. Students can develop their skills in weekly classes and gain stage experience through performances. The theatre also provides opportunities for groups and organizations, including corporate workshops, special events, community partnerships, and space rentals. Its box office can assist with tickets, group rates, and student discounts, while the education team handles class and workshop inquiries.
