Keramiikkapaja TiinaMari is a pottery studio and shop in Liminka, about 30 kilometres south of Oulu, Finland. Founded by ceramic artist Tiina-Mari Pietilä, the workshop has been creating pottery for more than 30 years. Its designs draw inspiration from the studio’s rural surroundings, local nature and Oulu’s cityscape, bringing a cheerful, place-based character to pieces for everyday use and special occasions.
The online shop offers handmade decorative and functional ceramics, including cups, tableware, jewellery and home accessories. Products feature Oulu themes and local dialect, alongside designs celebrating Oulu2026, the city’s European Capital of Culture year. One distinctive item is a yarn bowl designed to help a ball of yarn turn smoothly while knitting or crocheting.
TiinaMari also offers popular pottery and wheel-throwing courses, group experiences and services for businesses, including corporate gifts. Customers can visit the studio shop in person or browse its online store. The physical shop is generally open Tuesday to Friday and Saturday, with visits also possible by arrangement or whenever the door is open.
