About Kunstlicht
Tijdschrift Kunstlicht is an academic journal dedicated to art, visual culture, and architecture. Founded in 1980, the journal publishes three issues per year, including two single issues and one double issue, all of which revolve around specific themes. Run entirely by volunteers, the editorial board is comprised of students and alumni from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, each with diverse research interests.
While affiliated with the Arts and Culture department at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, Kunstlicht also operates as an autonomous foundation. The journal's design is the work of Corine van der Wal. For those interested in contributing, a formatting guide is available for download.
