About TI-Kenya
Transparency International (TI) is a renowned organization dedicated to fighting corruption worldwide. They offer various products and services to achieve this mission. TI provides comprehensive information through their website, digital platforms, and resource center.
They also offer legal advice and consultancy services to individuals and organizations looking to combat corruption effectively. TI-Kenya, a chapter of TI, focuses on addressing corruption issues specific to Kenya. They have a team of dedicated professionals and are supported by experienced board members and partners.
APNAC, the African Parliamentarians Network Against Corruption, is an important initiative by TI. It was formed as a result of a seminar where parliamentarians from across Africa shared experiences and knowledge about fighting corruption. APNAC serves as a platform for African parliamentarians to collaborate, exchange information, and work towards building stronger parliamentary institutions to combat corruption effectively.
TI – Kenya plays a significant role in supporting APNAC – Kenya by providing administrative assistance, hosting their online presence, and offering expertise in legislative drafting and policy development. With the establishment of national chapters and a dedicated secretariat, APNAC is now active in several countries, including Tanzania, Uganda, Ghana, South Africa, Mozambique, Benin, and Ethiopia. TI and APNAC's efforts contribute to fostering transparency, accountability, and good governance across Africa
