Tilbury Figure Skating Club

Tilbury Figure Skating Club is a volunteer-administered, non-profit skating organization based at Tilbury Arena in Tilbury, Ontario. As a member of Skate Canada, the club operates under that organization’s rules and regulations and welcomes skaters at different stages of development. Its programs include Learn to Skate for beginners who are new to the ice or building confidence and balance, and CanSkate, which introduces basic skills through a fun, participatory approach.

Skaters ready to progress can consider STARSkate, developing figure skating skills in ice dance, skating skills, free skate and interpretive skating. CanPowerSkate provides skating development for hockey and ringette players who already have basic forward and backward skills and can stop independently. The club also offers private lessons, coaching, evaluations and test days, along with seasonal events such as a carnival and showcase.

Families can find schedules, registration information and club policies through its website. Tilbury Figure Skating Club encourages parents and skaters to support the organization by volunteering, joining the board or helping as needed
