Tildas is an independent art studio founded by Swedish artist Matilda Johansson, who creates personal posters and keepsakes from her studio just outside Stockholm. Since making her first birth poster in 2020, Matilda has drawn, painted and knitted the products herself, checking every poster before it is shipped. The studio has sold more than 1,500 posters and signs and ships worldwide from Sweden.
Tildas specializes in hand-drawn birth posters based on customer photos, including designs featuring twins and triplets and prints available at actual size. Its wider collection includes personalized birth-flower posters, family bouquets representing family members, and custom portraits of people and animals. Customers can also choose name posters, zodiac and family-tree designs, line art, and knitted names and flowers. Many designs offer choices of colors, sizes or personalization, and some can be previewed through an online design tool. Posters are printed on FSC-certified paper, and free shipping is offered on orders over $49.
