The Tim Bergling Foundation was created by Klas Bergling and Anki Lidén and their family after the death of their son Tim Bergling, also known as Avicii – one of the most acclaimed and beloved producers/performers/songwriters in modern music. Tim’s parents have endowed the foundation with a significant contribution from his estate and will direct proceeds from future Avicii projects and the recent release of the posthumous album ”TIM" (2019) to the foundation. The Tim Bergling Foundation will advocate for the recognition of suicide as a global health emergency and promote removing the stigma attached to the discussion of mental health issues. It will support science-based organizations that engage in research into the causes and prevention of suicide, particularly for young people. Additionally, the foundation will support non-profits that address issues for which Tim had a passion such as climate change, preservation of endangered species, global hunger, and more.

About Tim Bergling Foundation
The Tim Bergling Foundation is a brand dedicated to honoring the legacy of Tim Bergling, also known as Avicii, a renowned musician, producer, and philanthropist. Born on September 8, 1989, in Stockholm, Sweden, Tim made a significant impact on the music industry with hit songs like Hey Brother, Levels, and Wake Me Up. Beyond his musical achievements, Tim dedicated himself to humanitarian work, founding the charity organization House of Hunger in 2011, which raised funds for causes such as Feeding America and the FEED Foundation.
Tim donated nearly 1 million euros to the Swedish charity Radiohjälpen and joined forces with RED in the fight against HIV and AIDS by donating all the proceeds from his song Divine Sorrow. Unfortunately, Tim passed away on April 20, 2018, but his legacy lives on through his music, philanthropic efforts, and the Tim Bergling Foundation. The foundation advocates for addressing mental health and well-being among children and young people.
