Timena Tier•Mensch•Natur

TiMeNa is an association based in Pfeffikon, Lucerne, that supports neurodivergent adolescents and young adults through the connection of animals, people, and nature. Its community offers a guided, practical setting for young people who may feel overwhelmed, isolated, misunderstood, or unable to benefit from existing services. Rather than judging participants, TiMeNa accompanies them as they build stability, confidence, and skills for everyday life.

The association’s core offering is an individualized development and training program, described as an “Aufbautraining,” where participants are supported by caring people, meaningful contact with animals, and time in nature. TiMeNa aims to help young people reconnect, find a sense of grounding, and take steps toward greater self-efficacy and personal growth. The organization also provides information for professionals who refer or support young people. Individuals and organizations can contribute through donations and memberships, helping fund participant support, animal care, and nature projects. TiMeNa’s work is centered on creating a dependable community in which young people can discover new possibilities and move forward at their own pace.
