Tinnitus clinic

Dr. Alexandre Cercal is an otorhinolaryngologist whose practice provides consultations by appointment, with scheduling available by phone or WhatsApp during the stated business hours. His website focuses especially on tinnitus, offering educational information and online tools to help people describe and assess their symptoms before discussing them with a clinician.

These include sound generators for comparing tinnitus with narrow-band noise or whistle-like tones, along with tools for estimating perceived loudness using a visual analogue scale and assessing its effects through the Tinnitus Handicap Inventory questionnaire. The site explains safe use of these tools, including starting at low volume and stopping if discomfort occurs, and emphasizes that they do not replace medical or audiological evaluation. It also presents CR Neuromodulation, or Acoustic CR Neuromodulation, as a sound-based tinnitus treatment originating in Germany.

The described approach begins with hearing and tinnitus assessment, followed by a personalized program of acoustic sounds delivered through a therapy device for daily listening
