TinyMayor is a free-to-play mobile game that turns nearby locations into a virtual town-building experience. Players unlock map plots measuring 25 by 25 metres within 100 metres of their location, then earn in-game currency, called IP, by playing short mini-games or watching optional videos. They can use IP to build virtual wind turbines, solar parks, homes and other structures.
Buildings may generate monthly payouts based on the app’s actual earnings and the total IP used by players that month; earnings are not guaranteed, and TinyMayor publishes the monthly value of each IP in the app. Players can request payouts to PayPal once their balance reaches €5. There are no purchases or fees to play.
The game also features town and regional rankings, badges and alliances for players working toward shared goals. TinyMayor is launching soon on iPhone and Android, initially in Germany, other EU countries except Italy, and the United States
