About TIPA
TIPA, short for Terrain for Interactive Pedagogy through Arts, is a Mauritian non-governmental and non-profit organization dedicated to empowering vulnerable children in Mauritian society. Recognizing the power of education and interactive pedagogy, TIPA works closely with the Ministry of Education, teachers, and school staff in priority area schools to develop innovative teaching strategies since 2007. At TIPA, their values of respect and participation lie at the heart of their intervention.
By promoting interactive pedagogy and participative methods, they aim to foster a multicultural and democratic society in Mauritius. With a focus on artistic experiences, TIPA nurtures self-esteem, critical thinking, and cultural identity among children. Their programs benefit vulnerable children, parents, teachers, ZEP schools, and the community at large.
To support TIPA's noble cause, you can make a difference in children's lives through individual donations, regular contributions, or volunteering opportunities. By joining forces with TIPA, you can help vulnerable children gain confidence through artistic and cultural education. Contact TIPA at Lot 4, Les Kocottes, St Pierre, Mauritius, or email them at admin@tipa.
