Tipsy Ypsi

Tipsy Ypsi is a locally owned paint-and-party business based in Ypsilanti, Michigan, bringing art and entertainment together through guided creative events. Established in 2012, the brand offers public classes throughout the week and private gatherings at its studio or at off-site venues across Southeast Michigan. Guests follow step-by-step instruction to create their own painting, with materials provided and events typically lasting two to three hours. Studio attendees may bring their own snacks and beverages.

Public events include adult paint-and-sip sessions, classes for teens and children, and specialty experiences such as couples’ events, paint-your-pet sessions, and DIY glass and wood projects. Tipsy Ypsi also organizes private parties for adults, kids, teens, and corporate groups, as well as fundraiser events for nonprofit organizations. Parties can be hosted at homes, workplaces, churches, and other locations. The business emphasizes approachable pricing, humor, and a welcoming, locally focused alternative to chain studios, with capacity to accommodate gatherings of up to hundreds of guests.
