TJ Bystrc

TJ Bystrc is a community sports and recreation organization in Bystrc, offering activities for children and adults who want to lead a healthy, active life. Founded in the 1920s, the association has a long local tradition and has operated independently since separating from Kníničky in 1991. It combines this heritage with contemporary approaches and trends in its classes.

Today, TJ Bystrc consists of a tennis section and Sport for All (SPV), which provides a range of sports and exercise activities. Its gymnasium and tennis courts are available both to association members and to the wider public, and the gymnasium can also be rented. The organization promotes accessible sport for everyone and invites people to take part in its activities. Its community calendar includes events such as children’s days and open-house weeks, alongside news and information about sports. TJ Bystrc also highlights local sporting interests, including volleyball and Brännball. The association’s activities and operations received financial support from the City of Brno in 2025.
