TJ Dolní Lomná

TJ Dolní Lomná is a sports club founded in 1967, focused primarily on developing young cross-country skiers. Based in Dolní Lomná, the club provides sporting activities for children and adults, with training groups for beginners, young competitors, youth athletes, and adults. Its preparatory group welcomes children who enjoy sport but do not wish or are not able to compete, while the other groups support progressively more intensive race preparation and participation.

During the summer, members stay active through cross-country running, cycling, roller skiing, and hiking. The club takes part in regional and national competitions, giving athletes opportunities to train and test their abilities across the year. Its active youth participants include children aged six to fifteen.

TJ Dolní Lomná also shares club news, competition results, photographs, and information about its athletes and history. Support from sponsors and public institutions helps maintain the facilities and provide the resources needed for the club’s sporting activities. Recent improvements to its clubhouse have included insulation and the replacement of windows and doors.
