TJslavie

TJ Slávie Chomutov is a Czech swimming club founded in 1963, bringing together more than 300 swimmers in a longstanding sporting community. The club describes itself as one of the country’s most successful and established swimming organizations, with athletes competing at national and international events. Its activities include pool swimming, open-water distance swimming and winter swimming. Programs range from introductory groups for young beginners to competitive squads, masters swimming and a conditioning group, supported by coaches and scheduled training sessions.

The club takes part in competitions across age groups and publishes news, results, statistics and club records. It also organizes major events, including the long-running Velká cena města Chomutova, and celebrates athletes’ achievements at Czech championships and other meets. Its website provides information about teams, training times, recruitment, club history and events. In addition to its sporting activities, TJ Slávie Chomutov offers regional award-winning dry white wine for purchase through team coaches or by phone, with proceeds helping support the club.
