Taekwondo Vichten

Taekwondo Vichten a.s.b.l. is a Taekwondo club based in Vichten, Luxembourg, welcoming people interested in learning the Korean martial art. Taekwondo combines effective techniques using the body’s natural weapons, especially hands and feet, and is both an Olympic discipline and a system of unarmed self-defence. The club introduces members to the art’s principles and practice, including poomsae, kyorugi, self-defence, one-step sparring and breaking techniques.

Training takes place at the sports hall at 32 Rue Principale in Vichten. Children and adults train in separate groups, with sessions generally scheduled on Mondays and Wednesdays; optional Friday training may also be offered. Athletes who compete can request additional practice. Interested newcomers are welcome to observe or take part in introductory sessions without obligation.

The club’s website provides practical information, including training schedules, equipment, grades and internal rules, as well as Taekwondo history, terminology and photo galleries from club events. Taekwondo Vichten is led by instructors Frank Kaufmann and Faustino Cima. For further information, visitors can contact the club by email or telephone.
