Tour Club KPI “Globus” is the tourism club of Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, offering opportunities for people interested in outdoor travel, practical skills and shared adventure. The club organizes non-commercial trips for participants of varying experience levels across the Carpathians, Crimea, the Caucasus, the Pamirs, the Tian Shan and other regions. Its activities include free tourism training groups and an instructors’ school, helping members prepare for journeys through instruction and practice. Training can cover skills such as running, building cardiovascular fitness and tying knots, while trip reports document routes and experiences from the mountains.

Beyond expeditions, Globus hosts photo and video evenings featuring travel stories from around the world. Members can also take part in competitions focused on tourism techniques, survival and orienteering. The club’s website shares group recruitment information, trip reports, event and competition updates, a tourism library, equipment links and a forum.
