TKKS

Turun Kontaktikarateseura ry (TKKS) is a Finnish kickboxing club registered in 1987 and known for its long-standing involvement in the sport. The club offers both competitive kickboxing and fitness kickboxing, welcoming people interested in training for competition as well as those seeking an accessible way to exercise and learn martial arts techniques. Its fitness classes can help participants develop physical fitness and mobility, and no previous experience in combat sports is required to get started.

TKKS has a record of competitive success, with its athletes earning numerous medals at major championships. Many former and current competitors remain actively involved in the club’s activities. Newcomers can begin through the club’s starter course, while members can take part in regular training sessions and belt examinations. The club also provides information about training schedules, fees, equipment and membership. Gloves, clothing and protective gear are available for purchase, including sock-style shin guards suited to fitness classes.
