Tlapky v Naději

Tlapky v Naději, z.s. is a volunteer-run animal rescue association and dog shelter in Horšovský Týn, focused primarily on helping abandoned, unwanted, and abused dogs. The organization aims not only to rescue animals but also to help them regain trust through socialization, preparing them for loving adoptive homes. It believes dogs with difficult pasts can still enjoy happy lives with caring owners.

The shelter offers opportunities to learn about and arrange dog adoption, as well as guidance on what to do if a dog is lost, found, or suspected of being abused. Visitors who wish to meet the dogs, adopt, donate items, or take dogs for walks are asked to arrange an appointment in advance, since volunteers are not always on site.

The association welcomes financial and material donations, volunteers, dog walkers, and temporary foster carers. It provides foster homes with food, veterinary care, and support. Funds raised through donations and events go toward shelter operations, animal care, veterinary treatment, quality food, and supplies.
