About The Lactation Network
The Lactation Network (TLN) connects families with professional breastfeeding and lactation support, helping parents access care that fits their needs and circumstances. Its network includes International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs), specialists trained to guide families through feeding challenges and support their breastfeeding goals. Consultations are available in the home, in an office, or online, and are covered by insurance for eligible patients.
Families can begin by completing an intake form with personal and insurance information. TLN confirms eligibility, then connects patients with a dedicated IBCLC. Through the myTLN patient portal, patients can update their details, message their provider, review care plans, and access breastfeeding resources. Consultants can help with concerns such as painful latching, bottle refusal, pumping, milk supply, clogged ducts, nipple pain, and engorgement.
In addition to consultations, TLN offers articles and educational resources backed by IBCLC expertise. The organization also provides services and information for employers, health plans, healthcare providers, and lactation consultants, including opportunities for IBCLCs to join its network.
