Théâtre National Algérien

The National Theater of Algeria, named after the prominent Algerian figure Mahi Dine Bachtarzi, stands as a cultural institution under the Ministry of Culture. Recognized as the largest theater in Algeria, it serves as a hub for artistic expression and cultural exchange. The theater not only showcases a variety of theatrical performances for both adults and children, but it also actively participates in national festivals and events, fostering local talent and celebrating the rich heritage of Algerian art.

In March 2025, the National Theater will offer a diverse program for the Holy Month of Ramadan, including theatrical shows and artistic performances that engage the community. The theater is committed to educational initiatives, providing workshops and training sessions for aspiring artists. It also pays homage to legendary figures in its history, organizing special events to commemorate influential artists. With a focus on cultural depth, the National Theater continues to enhance the landscape of performing arts in Algeria through its innovative programming and commitment to excellence.
