Effective Apps

Terms Checkbox is a Shopify app that helps merchants collect customer agreement to store policies before checkout and keep a record of consent. Its required checkbox can appear in the cart, on product pages, with Buy It Now and express checkout buttons, and in cart drawers and floating carts. Depending on the plan, merchants can save the date and time of each agreement in Shopify order details, set display rules for selected products or countries, and add consent fields to sign-up, contact, and newsletter forms.

The Pro plan also supports translated checkbox text and Shopify POS for in-person sales. The app includes an AI policy generator for privacy, terms of service, refund, and shipping policies; generated text is customizable and presented as an example, not legal advice. Terms Checkbox offers Basic, Advanced, and Pro plans, each with a seven-day free trial, while development and partner stores can access Pro features free.

The app installs in one click, adapts to a store’s theme, and offers customer support for setup
