TN History for Kids is a brand that aims to provide comprehensive and engaging educational resources on Tennessee history. Due to the lack of Tennessee history or civics textbooks in public schools, TN History for Kids offers a solution by offering a website, videos, and booklets that students can use in class. With an impressive reach, around 8,000 teachers utilize their website and videos, while approximately 1,000 teachers incorporate their booklets into their curriculum.
The brand also organizes annual events and breakout sessions at education conferences, providing further support and training for teachers. TN History for Kids is supported by revenue from the state of Tennessee, teachers who use their resources, and private sector sponsors. Some of their current sponsors include BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, AT&T, and Nissan.
The brand's dedication to providing accessible and engaging resources plays a vital role in enhancing students' understanding of Tennessee history
