TNT Outfitting is a family-run hunting outfitter and working cattle ranch based in Montrose, Colorado, in hunting Unit 62. Owner and guide TJ Hecht has known the local terrain since childhood and leads hunts across the ranch’s varied landscapes, from lower-elevation fields to high-country cedar, aspen, and pine forests. The company offers guided private-land hunts for elk, mule deer, black bear, wild turkey, and mountain lion.
Most guided trips last five days, with archery, muzzleloader, and rifle options depending on the species and season; spring turkey and winter mountain lion hunts are also available. Packages include a guide, meals, cooking, and furnished cabin lodging, with hunters asked to bring sleeping bags and pillows. Guests stay in small-group cabins and can hunt from blinds, tripod stands, roads, trails, or on foot.
The outfitter manages 8,000 acres of high country and 2,000 acres of lower terrain, and provides transportation and access accommodations. Non-hunting guests are welcome for an additional fee, and the team helps clients prepare for changing weather and trip logistics
