About Toca da Raposa
Toca da Raposa is a small, welcoming campsite in central Portugal, at the foot of the Serra da Estrela mountains. Set amid nature near the village of Meruge and close to Oliveira do Hospital, it offers a budget-friendly base for exploring the surrounding region, about 80 kilometres from Coimbra. Guests can enjoy walking routes starting at the campsite, as well as cycling, horse riding, canoeing and mountain climbing.
Facilities include a swimming pool, good sanitary facilities and free Wi-Fi. The campsite is open throughout the year. Its bar and restaurant operate from April 1 to September 30, while chalet and cabana rentals are closed during the winter season.
