Todellisuuden tutkimuskeskus, also known as Reality Research Center, is a collective of professional performing artists based in Helsinki, Finland. Established in 2001, our mission is to observe, question, and renew reality through the creation of engaging and innovative performances. We believe that art has the power to open up a diverse spectrum of reality.

Our productions, which range from traditional performance spaces to unconventional locations such as the streets, galleries, and even people's homes, challenge the boundaries and definitions of performative art. With a strong focus on audience development, we prioritize the experience of our viewers, who we often refer to as experiencers or active participants in the artistic process. In addition to performances, we also organize workshops, seminars, and events, further cultivating a dynamic and inclusive artistic community.

Through our publishing projects, including the Esitys magazine and various books, we aim to share our knowledge and expertise with a wider audience. As we embark on our new strategy for 2022-2026, we are committed to promoting equality and accessibility, fostering diversity within our collective, and reaching new audiences for the performing arts.
