About Toi Kai Rawa
Toi Kai Rawa Trust is a Māori economic development agency that operates across the wider Bay of Plenty region in New Zealand. Established in 2014 as a Māori economic development board, Toi Kai Rawa oversees the implementation of the He Mauri Ohooho Māori Economic Development Action Plan. Officially incorporated under the Charitable Trust Act in January 2020, Toi Kai Rawa is a regional leader in advancing the prosperity of Māori communities.
Their purpose is to improve Māori prosperity by focusing on wealth, wellbeing, social and cultural outcomes such as income, employment, health, and education.
