Toilet Map

The Great British Public Toilet Map is an essential resource for anyone in the UK who needs to find a toilet. With over 14,000 facilities, it's the largest database of publicly-accessible toilets in the country. This comprehensive and sustainable map is constantly updated to ensure accurate information.

The project is a joint venture between Dr. Jo-Anne Bichard, Gail Ramster, and software development company Neontribe. They work tirelessly to gather data from the public, as well as councils, OpenStreetMap, private companies, and organizations.

The map includes all types of publicly-accessible toilets, from public buildings like libraries and hospitals to transport networks like train stations and airports. They even include toilets in businesses that allow public use without a purchase. The map strives to be user-friendly, offering downloadable guides and checklists to help volunteers contribute data.
