About TOJIL
Tojil is a non-profit organization made up of mainly female lawyers based in Mexico City. We are dedicated to combating impunity through strategic litigation and advocating for human rights. Our mission is to highlight that corruption affects not only individuals but the entire country.
At Tojil, we work closely with institutions to develop public policies that promote access to justice for all. Our services include: 1. Investigation of factors that contribute to impunity in the criminal justice system.
2. Communication campaigns to promote best practices and provide guidance to users of the criminal justice system. 3.
Strategic litigation for high-impact cases related to corruption or gender-based violence. 4. Strengthening institutional capacity by implementing best practices within institutions involved in reporting, investigating, and dispensing justice for high-impact crimes.
