About Tokie

We built a Mac Finder alternative to add a new layer of customisability to your folders.

You can add custom labels, inline markdown notes or insert webpage into the folder to customise the view of your folders, turning each folder into a workspace.

We started this project as a reflection on the 30-40 year history of file explorer, and it hasn't changed much since the very first version. There is also a trend in database tools like Notion and Airtable, and we thought we should bring that experience to our folders, and it seems to be neglected for decades.
