TokyoDev began as a blog by our founder, Paul, who shared his own experiences as a developer in Japan. As it gained popularity, it evolved into a small business with a mailing list for English-speaking developers seeking job opportunities in Japan. Over time, the platform expanded to include a job board section, accommodating the growing demand.

Today, TokyoDev continues to flourish, and in 2021, it became Paul's full-time endeavor. To date, over 100 developers have successfully secured roles through TokyoDev.
