Tokyo Gaijin Girls is the premier international women’s rugby team based in Tokyo, Japan, founded in 2020 in response to a growing interest among female players in the sport. Recognizing the scarcity of amateur women’s teams in the area, the Tokyo Gaijin management established this official ladies’ team to foster skill development and provide an inclusive environment for players of all levels, from beginners to those with extensive experience.
The team has actively participated in tournaments such as the Ichihara Sevens and Yokohama Sevens, showcasing their commitment to teamwork and growth in the sport. Supported by the Tokyo Gaijin Rugby Football Club, they emphasize camaraderie and mutual encouragement among members. As they continue to seek new players, Tokyo Gaijin Girls invites women interested in exploring rugby to join their ranks. Whether you're starting from scratch or looking to enhance your skills, the team offers a welcoming space for all. Embrace the spirit of rugby with Tokyo Gaijin Girls—where everyone is encouraged to play and enjoy the game together!
